Today's social environment is more diverse than it has ever been in known history and the challenges grow more complex everyday as new situations and norms become woven into the fabric of society. Providing Equity and Inclusion in your classroom can be a difficult topic to navigate on a daily basis. This presentation will point on the differences between Equity and Equality as well as as a brief sociological review of "Labeling, Stereotypes, Prejudice , Discrimination , and Bias". Attendees will be given classroom strategies and be encouraged to participate in lively discussions.
