In this hands and interactive session, teachers will explore play based learning research (constructivist theories, Lisa Murphy’s seven things, and more) and how it relates to creating a collaborative experience for future ECE professionals in a lab setting. Example activities will be out to explore and analyze during the session. The focus will be on how you can create a play based program that provides early intervention for preschoolers, career readiness skills for high school teachers, and more while also staying connected to resources in your high school, district, and city of residence as a whole. Participants will receive a packet of resources to take with them back to their schools.
