As the Director of the Collinsville Area Vocational Center (CAVC), I am dedicated to providing students with hands-on, career-focused education that prepares them for success in the workforce and beyond. With a deep passion for Career and Technical Education (CTE), I strive to expand opportunities for students, ensuring they gain the skills, experience, and confidence needed to thrive in their chosen fields.
My journey to CAVC has been shaped by a diverse background in both industry and education. I began my career as a construction worker before launching and operating my own landscape company. Later, I transitioned into education as a special education teacher, where I developed a strong commitment to student success and accessibility in learning. These experiences have given me a well-rounded perspective on the value of skilled trades and the importance of connecting classroom learning with real-world applications.
Outside of work, I am a proud husband and father of three. Whether at home or at CAVC, I believe in fostering strong relationships, lifelong learning, and a commitment to helping others build successful futures.
